Linda was born in Alaska and is an enrolled member of the Tlingit tribe. She moved to Minnesota as a young child and grew up in the Leech Lake area. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Social Work from St. Cloud State University and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine’s University. She has over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults from very diverse backgrounds.

Linda’s approach to therapy is relational, utilizing mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, and some training in DBT techniques. She works from a strength based perspective with an understanding of both Trauma theory and Attachment theory to assist clients with issues such as Anxiety, Depression, School Failure, Self-harm, Parent/Child relationship, Peer difficulties as well as a wide range of other issues.
