WHAT IS TELEHEALTH?
In the age of technology, accessing healthcare has gotten easier! If you have limited mobility, barriers to transportation, or other difficulties, you can meet with a provider via phone or computer right from your home. Many types of appointments are available via telehealth.
Telehealth visits are available for many types of appointments, including:
- Chronic disease management
- Medication management
- Discussions about birth control
- Headaches, belly aches, and other pains
- Rashes & skin conditions
- Cold/flu symptoms
- Mental health & therapy
- and more!
MCC is proud to offer telehealth appointments, but not all visits can be done over the phone. Certain appointments, such as physicals and well-child checks are in-clinic only.
Make sure you ask about telehealth options when scheduling your appointment.
