While studying writing and film-making at UW-Madison, Emily first became interested in midwifery in her early 20’s. Many years later, after working as a video producer and portrait photographer, her interest turned into a calling and she began the journey to midwife. Emily immediately fell in love with Minnesota Community Care when she was a student here. One thing she loves about our clinic is the ability to provide full spectrum reproductive health care to people from so many different walks of life. Her clinical interests include contraception, high risk collaboration, gestational diabetes, nutrition, and supporting normal physiologic birth. In her free time, Emily enjoys practicing yoga, knitting, cooking, and freelance media production as well as spending time with her family. Patients seen include pre-teen through menopause.
