Laura Leatherman-Clark (pronouns: she/hers) gained her BA in Religious Studies from Macalester College. During college while working at a local reproductive health clinic, she found her passion for health care and began her path towards becoming a midwife. She attended Vanderbilt University where she received her Masters of Nursing in Midwifery and Family Practice.
Upon graduation Laura worked in the Nashville Department of Health before returning to Minnesota. She has worked in full scope Midwifery care since 2015 and has been with Minnesota Community Care since 2019. She is passionate about reproductive justice, equitable access to care, and serving a diverse population. In her free time you can find her at home with her two dogs, likely cuddled up with a good book.
